About Momslove
Momslove started with a care package: a pair of hand-knitted socks, mailed to a kid away at college, with a note that said "wear these when you miss home." We decided everyone deserves that feeling.
What we believe
Small batches, real hands. Every pair in our shop is hand-stitched and hand-finished in our little studio. No factories, no assembly lines — just people who genuinely love making cozy things.
Honest materials. Wool blends that keep you warm, plush cottons that stay soft. We label exactly what's in every pair, because cozy shouldn't be a mystery.
Fun is a feature. Life's too short for boring socks. Bold stripes, cabin knits, gift-ready sets — we make the socks people actually get excited about.
How we work
We design a small collection and make it in limited runs. Each pair is inspected by hand before it's packed — if a stitch isn't right, it doesn't ship. When a batch sells out, we make more; we never cut corners to keep up.
Meet the studio
Momslove is stitched by a small team of four in our Springfield studio, led by our founder Mara — who learned to knit from her grandmother and still inspects every batch by hand.
Here is how a pair comes to life:
- Dyeing. For our colorway packs, undyed yarn is hand-dyed in small lots — no two dye batches are exactly alike.
- Knitting. Fair-isle patterns, stripes, dots, and motifs are hand-knit stitch by stitch on studio frames. Nothing is printed; every color you see is yarn.
- Linking. Toes are hand-linked for a seamless, rub-free finish.
- Finishing. Plush styles are brushed by hand, cuffs are shaped and set, and every pair is inspected before packing.
A batch is usually a few hundred pairs. When it sells out, we make more — we never rush the process to keep up.
